Crystal Healing Specifically
I almost didn't buy this -- out of my comfort zone. I usually like my nails dark. And recently I've only been leaving the occasional negative review where it's been necessary as I've been kinda mad at corporations lately. But I had to leave a glowing review for this polish. I still hate corporations but credit where credit is due, you know? If there's such a thing as a 'good' corporation it would have to be Orly. So far. But I'm still watching. This is seriously the best polish I've ever owned. For a Breathable it also dries really fast, which was a pleasant surprise. I probably defeat the purpose of a 'breathable' by layering them (Orly Protein Base and Clear as Topcoat) but still, I prefer them.Because I'm in love with this formula I can't do just one coat -- but at 2+ I've had zero issues with chipping, peeling, etc which is something I've never said about an air-dry polish, ever. I feel like it would be fine at just one coat. Your mileage may vary: in my working days, my hands were always in water and no polish lasted. But now retired, this polish doesn't move until I take it off. Out of the shower it has a short moment of iffiness because it IS a breathable formula, but once dry, it's perfect again. Other polishes disintegrate on me after getting waterlogged. My elderly mother can't handle *any* nail polish fumes (allergies). I paint my nails outside on an extremely hot, humid and road-dusted screen porch. This kills all my other polishes almost immediately. I'll usually have to break out the thinner after just the first use, which can potentially destroy certain formulas. With this bottle I was able to use it for several coats, several different times before it got too thick (at an unheard of fat quarter of the bottle) -- and it has taken on the thinning solution beautifully, almost like new. I imagine if I lived up in the Midwest again this polish wouldn't be at all affected. However it might not be breathable anymore; I don't know the science behind that. Orly makes a thinner too but I haven't looked into that yet. I'm still working on the (cheap, cruelty-free) Swedish thinner here on Amazon and I'll try Orly's at a later date.I wish I had photos (phone broke) but Crystal Healing is surprisingly versatile: One coat makes a beautiful topper on another polish, or a soft shimmer (not the right word) on bare nails. If you use it bare like this it can have a slightly yellowish cast when it shifts. This doesn't bother me at all and if there's any downside to this polish, it's the only one. Really, it's hardly noticeable unless you're looking for it. I have a feeling it's there for a reason when layering, but i'll get to that in a moment. Two coats: Looking for elevated soap nails? This is your girl. Slightly sheer (like a crelly) pinky-nude and magical. No yellow cast at all. Go thin and it'll dry rock hard. I thought this was perfection, until...Three coats: This is pink nacre. This is true mother-of-pearl. I've lived in Florida more than half my life so I know shells. It's not just close; it's exact, but at 3 coats it's definitely pink and the yellow is gone. So is the shift. BUT it's so shiny you wouldn't even need a topcoat but with one, your nails feel (and look) like glass. It would probably happen without a topcoat as well but I haven't had any self control with that so far. As long as you're not impatient between coats, once this stuff dries it's so durable. Removes like a dream. While it is iridescent it doesn't seem like a shimmer or pearl formula at all, meaning there's no visible micro-glitter. Yet, it puts shimmer to shame with the...Gleam? Reflect? 'Shiny' doesn't do it justice. It looks like natural iridescence., like a bubble or again, a shell. Whatever word you choose, amplify it by 3.This color would look appropriate on anyone aged 8 to 88 and beyond. It looks expensive; not tacky at all. It would look amazing under club lights or completely appropriate at something like a funeral. Really, the only downside here is that nearly imperceptible yellowish cast that's only visible on its own and only as a single coat.I feel like if you put a darker base coat under it (like dark gray or even navy) you'd have abalone -- but I haven't tested this. I used it over a warm, light gray (Orly Staycation) and it looked a little too 'lavender unicorn' for me. Still beautiful, just not me. I think a cream base would turn it into perfect pearl, especially with that nearly imperceptible yellowish tint. I can even see it going Goth over black or deep red (possibly turning it into a deep wine). This polish has become a necessity for me.One last thing: I recently cut off my longish square nails into short ovals for summer (don't do it -- just don't). This color maintains the elegance of longer nails on my now, otherwise stubby-looking fingers. I can't really think of anything else. If I fix my camera I'll upload some photos, but don't count on it anytime soon ($$$). Just buy it.

Super sheer but gorgeous
I really love this polish. I like how it’s breathable so I can put nail growth serums on under it and on top and it still works. My nails have grown quickly despite wearing this polish regularly. It’s really nice that the formula doesn’t require a top or base coat. One thing to know before buying the crystal healing color is that it’s SUPER SHEER. It won’t cover a long without many layers. Personally, I like this because it’s very natural looking. I can tell my nails are done but it goes with any outfit. Another thing to know is that if you shake the bottle, you will get super bad bubbles when applying it to your nails. Don’t shake beforehand!!!

Crystal Healing: An Iconic Color
Everyone should have this color, or one like it, in their collection. It is the perfect super-light shimmery pink. The irridescent blue-purple highlights are gorgeous and subtle. It is buildable, but after 3 coats it was still somewhat transparent. I don't love jellies, so next time I will use this over a thin coat of a very light pink cremè, just so my nail line doesn't show. I find this type of shade very useful for those times when I'm traveling and/or very busy with no time for touchups. It can take more of a beating without looking ragged. My manicures usually last a solid week with maybe 1 small touchup in between, but with this one I might be able to get away with no touchups.

Cute look
On the left applied a thin layer. In the right applied a thicker layer. Overall very satisfied with the look. A thin layer feels more breathable on the nail.

So glad I bought this!
Am including a few pics in different lighting so you can see the color, which I love, but the best thing about it is how easy it is to apply with flawless results.I am busy and not the kind of person who spends a ton of time on my nails, but when I needed them to look nice, I would apply 2 coats of color (Opi "Throw Me a Kiss") and then a clear top coat (Seche Vite). When done slowly and carefully, it looks amazing, but takes forever and invariably I'd smudge it somewhere. Plus, it would chip (usually in less than a week) and if I didn't give them downtime sans polish, my nails would eventually get brittle.Enter Orly Breathable polish. Two coats goes on easy (isn't streaky and you don't have to wait forever for the first to dry) and looks awesome, no top coat needed. And it lasts longer than the 3 coat method I'd been using! See photos to judge for yourself. Plenty of shimmer and shine in half the time! This is starting to sound like an advertisement so I'll stop. Off to see if it comes in other colors I'd like :-)P.S. if you don't currently take a multivitamin, consider it. I started one this year at the recommendation of my doc to boost my vitamin D levels and was surprised to note my nails started looking healthier within a month. I think there is Vitamin E and Biotin and other stuff in it that's good for hair and nails. Wish I'd started taking it sooner!
