Q: Would this baseball net work well on cement?

Yes, it is stable enough to work on cement. It might skootch a little, though. We have baseball accessories set up on packed-down mulch and it doesn’t move a bit. I think it would be fine on cement.

Q: Can you leave this softball net set outside except during the winter? It will be a pain to keep setting up.

Set up / taking down the baseball net is pretty quick and simple. However, if you use a baseball net and baseball accessories multiple times daily and wish to keep up, it takes a long time for the pitching net to degrade. I'm in CA (very little rain) and have had mine in back yard up for over 3 months. The frame is still good. For another user asking, I use four concrete blocks (I think called "retaining blocks") on the legs to keep the baseball net from tipping over or moving.

Q: How is this in the windy? Will the baseball net stay up? We get some strong winds in the valley we practice in.

Hi, the softball net set won't trap too much wind by itself. The support bars are metal, but they are about the diameter of 'standalone' bars used to support vegetables in your garden, something like you might use for tomato plants. If veggies can grow tall in your neighborhood, I'll bet you'll be able to practice your hitting in that same area!

This baseball hitting net set come with a tee. If you need the softball net, yes it will work great for your 12U softball needs. I'm still using the baseball training equipment with my 14U all star baseball team. It's been awesome!!

Very sturdy

This is a solid set. We used every part of this during the season, and it all held up well. It's very sturdy and can be set up in minutes once you know what you're doing. I like that the targets can also be attached to other objects, such as a fence, for pitching practice. The carrying cases are also really nice and made it easy to lug this with us to practices.

Nice practice batting setup

Purchased this for my 7 year old grandson and he was excited, Nice set up but the “strike zone pro” tore the corner by the white strike zone. Would like to know if it can be replaced for that.

Not durable

During a heat wave the metal actually got hot enough to collapse and it was ruined over 1 summer. It needs to be protected from elements which seems silly for baseball season.
