I got the full set with the uv light and so far it is fantastic. As a newbie to nail polish (who has never been to a salon) this is really easy. It took me just over an hour to do my nails, even with being careful. I love that there is no real drying time. I like having painted nails but I can't do it when I have to wait three to fours hours for regular polish to dry and then just have it chip in less than 2 days. I can't speak to the duration it lasts yet, but application was very similar to regular polish. The bottles are small and will probably only last 2 - 3 applications per color. I definitely need some practice but so far this has been easy to use!

Absolutely love it. Perfect kit to start you up with gel nails. I loved the variety of colors that came with it. The bottles of nail polish are very small, very similar to what we got as children. However a little bit goes a long way and I really think you'd have plenty of polish to do your nails several times. I was amazed how well my nails looked after. 10/10 recommend for all ages! So worth the money and super easy to use.

Love the whole set I even got a free item when I purchase the set, the only downfall is its little bottles. Will update after I use it, but it does all pack back into a Styrofoam form that fits in a small box. I wish they give you a custom container for it. The polishes are all organized in the fosl so you can see the bottle tops that have the swatch of come on them. The other one I received had the bottles in a lat flat plastic form. You had to pull them out to see the color. I'm returning that set.On, first impression, the bottles are very, very, very small. I don't know that the base and top would be enough for more than 1 go. So, maybe it's a easy to explore color, one time, toss the bottle.The gel is thick. I don't know how hard it will be to use it.The individual are minimal, fitting on maybe half a postcard. So I'm off to find a video. It also doesn't have the nail prep/dehydrator and nail primer. This set only had nail base and nail top, glossy. I did order a set that just contained those 4 items in regular size Polish bottles.So I'll be back with more feedback but thought this would have been helpful in making a choice to purchase a gel nail system.

This is such a fun kit! It honestly came with way more stuff than I’ll probably ever use but it’s nice to know that I have it. I love playing around with different colors & top coats to create unique designs. I like the variety of colors that come in the kit. However, they are really tiny bottles so be prepared to buy more gel. I do appreciate that their gel is compatible with other brands. It seems to be a really good gel. When applied correctly, I can easily get weeks of wear (2 weeks on fingers & 3-4 weeks on toes) with a lasting shine and minimal chipping. There’s no stinky smell while using which is wonderful. This would make an excellent gift as well!!

Product worked well for me, but some of the bottles had leaked and I didn’t immediately realize it. I had already used some of the polish before I realized. One nail color, the matte coat and the glitter coat had all leaked. Which is a bummer cause I’m a glitter lover when it comes to my nails and it was pretty much all leaked out. Other than that, the kit itself is great. I had looked to see if I could contact the seller to message them about the leaks but couldn’t find a way without returning the whole thing, which I did not want to do. That could just be me not knowing where to look. So I can’t say if they would have been willing to send out replacements for those or not. Also, to comment on some of the other reviews, yes, the bottles are small. But I feel like for the price and the variety I wouldn’t have expect big bottles. This is more like a sample pack type of thing. The light, the nail tools and the stickers and extras that came are all great. The instructions are clear and were helpful as this was my first gel polish purchase. Overall I’m happy with the purchase itself, but disappointed about the leaking.

Love the set! Wish the polish bottles were bigger. Simple to use. Top snd base coats smell terrible. Make sure you're in a well ventilated room. I'd buy again. Currently looking to replace some of the colors. Comes with everything pictured.

Editing my review:This is an excellent starter kit for those wanting to do their own gel manicures at home. It comes with everything you need for a basic manicure, aside from acetone and cleaning/design brushes. As others have mentioned, the bottles are small, but you get a lot of colors to choose from, which can help one determine which colors they’d like to purchase larger sizes of. The base coat polish will remain sticky after curing, but it’s a base coat, so being a bit tacky afterwards is expected. The other polishes do dry very quickly under the UV lamp, and are quite easy to use. The UV lamp however did not work at all for me, but MEFA’s excellent customer service gave me a refund so that I could purchase a new one. Overall, I would highly recommend this starter kit, just have a back up UV lamp just incase!
