Q: What sensor does this use? Is it ultrasonic, or a drop-in-tank pressure sensor? Does it come with the sensor?

Hi, Usually it does not come with the sensor.The sensure is of the pressure type,with standard output 4-20mA current loop.Full scale corresponds to 5m or 3m depth(these are thr types I’ve seen, ther might be other ones). Sensor is stainless steel encased and comes with a cable matched with depth(i.e. 5 or 3 m)

Q: for windows 7 which software is recommended? for liquid level

This meter works standalone, no remote software required .

Q: can i use it with pressure sensor 0 to 1 m graded in cm..?

This meter will display any 4 - 20 ma signal you provide to it. It also works with other inputs, however I have only used it for level control using a sensor I purchased with the unit. It works really well and allows you to have 4 switches that are independent of each other. If you are referring to 0 to 1 meter of liquid depth it will work. You can even scale it to allow the bar graph to be full scale when your level is full. They sell this model with a submersible stainless steel pressure sensor that I an using to control pumps and fill levels in water tanks. You can find the instructions in English by searching for TX80 English manual.
