I have been using mcafee for many years now and I have been very pleased with it.This is probably the cheapest antiviruses software you are able to buy.It offers total protection for any viruses.The software can run quick and full scans on the computer. A big plus you can set it that it automatically runs a scan (in the background) ever so often so you don't have to keep going in to do one (although I was go in now and again to run a full scan). The software can also do a clean scan that removes and temporary files, deleted/unused files that may be stored on the pc to help free storage and to help you pc running quickly and smoothly.The software also has a handy tool which removes any annoy cookies or trackers from sites.It also helps you with speeding up and slow going programs you may have on your pc, while also downloading any updates that programs may have.I have had no problems using the software and I have never had any issues/problems.This is a excellent antiviruses software that I will happily return to once the year subscription has run out.I normally purchase to have the code sent by post, I decided to op to the email code instead (as you get an additional 3months to your year subscription). This was straight forward, you receive a email with the code (or access it through your account) then you just log into your mcafee account and enter your code. If you have already got an account any days left over from your previous subscription will carry forward.A little tip once you enter the code it will come up with a option to set up an auto renewal on your account (I never do this as it is way more expensive and it is always cheaper to buy the codes) if you click no they will then temp you in with a offer for an additional 3months added to your account, then click yes set up payment (note no payment will be taken at the time), this means you get your 1yrs subscription plus the extra 3months and an additional 3months by Mcafee so you end up getting 18months in total for the price of 12. After set up is complete you just have to remember (and did this straight away so I didn't forget) is to log into your Mcafee account and switch off the auto renewal function so you won't get charged at the end of your subscription.

Fantastic price for great cover. Easy to install, just be sure to choose whether you want to auto-renew or not.

Great price and good protection. The only challenge is that I have no idea how to switch off auto-renew and I was not told that they will charge me a month in advance of product expiry which nearly gave me a heart attack. Otherwise, it is a good product for this price.

Found easy to use,use full every year if needed instead of the recurring subscription by the company..

I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with McAfee Total Protection. As a Mac user, I was looking for a reliable and effective antivirus program to keep my computer safe from malware and other threats. Unfortunately, this product has turned out to be a complete waste of money.From the very beginning, I encountered numerous problems with McAfee Total Protection. The installation process was cumbersome and time-consuming, and once the software was up and running, it seemed to slow down my computer significantly. Despite these initial setbacks, I decided to give the product a chance and see if it could live up to its promises.I wanted to add that I'm still experiencing significant problems with McAfee Total Protection. In particular, the firewall feature of the software has been a major headache.Despite my best efforts, the firewall seems to be turned off more often than it's turned on. When I try to enable it, I receive error messages or the software crashes altogether. This leaves my computer vulnerable to all sorts of attacks, and it's incredibly frustrating.On top of that, I haven't been able to do a proper cleaning of my computer because the software is so slow and resource-intensive.I understand that virus scans can take some time, but the length of time it takes with McAfee Total Protection is simply unacceptable. It's hard to imagine how anyone could use this software on a daily basis without experiencing significant slowdowns and disruptions.Ultimately, I have to say that McAfee Total Protection is a useless and ineffective product. It has caused nothing but headaches and frustration for me, and I regret ever purchasing it. If you're a Mac user looking for antivirus software, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Trust me, you'll be much better off without this product.
