I’ve been using this weighted vest for a few weeks now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my workouts. This works well for women. I like that you can add or take out some of the weights in the pockets. I tried other styles and did not like the style with clasps in the front of your chest. This one clasps on the side and is not so bulky under my arms and chest.

I bought this because you could add weights and most of the weight was on your back. The price was reasonable. However I have had this for a week and the smell in overpowering I have it hanging outside when not wearing it and the smell is still very noticeable. If there was another option I would return this because of the small. So be forewarned. Other than the smell i like this vest. The 10 pound is a lot. I have started with shirt seatings and gradually increasing my wear time. Still not up to full walk at good speed with it. Which I guess is the whole point of the weighted vest. It is doing what it’s supposed to do

This item came packaged well & is top notch quality. I’m very sensitive to smells but mine came with zero odor, some have claimed it was pretty bad. I’ve used 3 days now walking my dog for a hour with just the weight from vest & it’s no joke, 11 lbs is noticeable & I can see where it’s going to be beneficial! I’m excited I can add weights as I become stronger. Highly recommend!

I looked at many vests before deciding on this one; the fact that I could adjust the weight was a big selling point for me. I had done some minimal rucking and thought a vest would be good. I read other reviews on this product and I agree that it does have a bit of an unpleasant odor when it is first unpacked. Not overpowering, but definitely present for days.... HOWEVER, the smell did not transfer to my clothes - so big win for that. I got this vest a couple of weeks ago and have used it nearly every day for walking. My first time, I used all the weights (so a total of 20 pounds). After about 1.5 miles, my shoulders were hurting. After I took it off, my shoulders had red marks where the vest was sitting. For my second use, I took off 5 pounds (two of the little weighted bags) and it was definitely better. No red marks, so I guess the original 20 pounds was just too heavy for me? My shoulders and body ached a bit for several days (not unbearable) but I am pleased to say that a couple of weeks later, I am still at the 15 pound level, and can wear it comfortably now for up to 4 miles (I could probably wear it longer, just haven't done so yet). I was surprised that I was/am sore in the places I was (a little bit in legs and core) - so I guess it is doing something good for me. I definitely feel I am "working harder" when I walk with the vest - heart beats harder/faster, I can feel it pretty much everywhere, and have find myself sweating. So overall, after getting myself use to it, and experimenting to find the right weight for me, I am glad I purchased this vest! Though it does look like I am wearing a bullet proof vest on my walks....

The product is a depicted and I wore it this morning and works okay. So, why the three stars? Simply, the smell. It smells full of chemicals, even after leaving it outside for 14 hours before using. The shirt I wore under smelled also. This makes me question just what this is made of so... wear with caution. Am going to let it and weights be outside for a week; if it still smells, its going back. The material is not particularly breathable and adjustable straps work with effort. Net, the smell and a little less quality that what I expected are thre reasons for this rating. May it air out soon!

The vest arrived when they said it would. Since it was heavy, it was in a very sturdy box that was inside an Amazon box. There was no damage to either. The vest was in good condition, but I was a little surprised there was nothing with it regarding usage, cleaning, etc. I tried it out yesterday, and I believe this will be one of my best investments in my health. I used it with the minimum weight (11lbs) and it was very comfortable, with the weight was evenly distributed. I look forward to adding the extra weights as I get stronger. This will help with my cardiovascular health (strong history in my family) as well as help to prevent osteoporosis.

I have tried several different vests and this one is my top choice for a few reasons:1. I like how the weight is evenly distributed on my torso. I have neck and back issues and a vest that simply comes around my shoulders and down my back puts too much pressure on my neck and shoulders. This distributes the weight on my chest and back and around my torso.2. I like that the weight is adjustable. I think you should start small and build in weight and time using it.3. It a comfortable fit.4. The material is good quality and seems to be durable5. It is easy to put on and take off.6. The adjustable weights are easy to change and the Velcro is durable. When the product arrives it does need to off gas a little so be sure to take it out of the package and air it out.
