Prep for Kitchen Cabinets
I received this 4 ounce packet of powdered TSP. I used the TSP mixing it with water. There were no recommendations on mixing on the package, only that it was customizable. I found directions online. The online information said for basic cleaning the ratio is ½ cup per 2 gallons of water. This pkg as 4 ounces is approx ½ cup. I recommend doing an online search based on the items being cleaned. The dilution can be customized as this package recommended. I used the liquid to clean cabinet doors and the cabinet boxes before painting. The TSP liquid helped me to remove the surface dirt and oil as well as taking the gloss off the prior varnish. I used this liquid on most of the cabinets. Then I hand sanded one of the doors and cabinet boxes. Finishing everything with 3 coats of acrylic white cabinet paint, I compared the two options. I could tell no difference in the way the paint adhered to any of the surfaces. The finished cabinets also look the same, in my opinion.I did a sample board - half sanded and half cleaned with TSP. Then painted the board at the same time as the cabinets. I followed with a hashtag razor cut on each side of the sample board. Afterwards, I tried to remove the paint with heavy adhesive tape. The paint did not pull away or flake. It was well adhered to both surfaces. I will update if in the long term I see any difference in the overall adhesion and performance compared to the fully sanded unit. The TSP was a much faster option compared to sanding. It also made less dust.

Dependable Surface Prep & Deep Cleaner – A Toolbox Essential
This small but mighty container of TSP goes a long way. It’s my go-to for prepping walls before paint—cuts through grime and chalky residue like nothing else. I’ve also used it on floors and outdoor concrete to lift oil and heavy dirt buildup, and it works impressively well. It dissolves easily in water, and I appreciate that you can adjust the concentration for different jobs. Just be sure to rinse thoroughly after use. A great product to keep in the cleaning or renovation arsenal.Use tips: To use trisodium phosphate (TSP) for general household cleaning, mix about 1/4 cup of TSP with a gallon of warm water. For heavier-duty degreasing jobs, such as cleaning garage floors or prepping outdoor surfaces like decks or siding, use 1/2 cup per gallon of water. When preparing walls or cabinets for painting, 1/3 cup per gallon is typically effective for removing grime and de-glossing the surface. Always rinse thoroughly with clean water after use, and be sure to wear gloves and eye protection, as TSP is a strong cleaner. Never mix it with ammonia or acids, as it can release dangerous fumes.

Not the best value.
It's TSP, and does the job as intended. But it's a really small package. Only 4 ounces. This won't last very long even with light household use. I'd consider this more of a trial size. It's in a thick, compact plastic bag with a tear-off top, which is nice. It does have a zip closure as well. Still, there are much better values out there.

Effective Degreaser
This was my first time using trisodium phosphate (TSP). The amount is smaller than I expected but the cleaner did a good job removing grease from my appliances. I am not sure how the price compares to other brands so I can't comment on the value for your money or how long this amount will last, but it seems effective for heavy-duty cleaning tasks. It wasn't especially odorous in my opinion compared to other cleaning products.

Works great for degreasing cabinets and appliances
This powder did a great job cutting through the grease on my kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances. FYI - don't leave it long on your kitchen cabinets, esp. if you aren't looking to repaint them because it will strip off the clear coat. It’s definitely expensive for the small amount you get, esp. since you can find larger quantities at home improvement stores, but if you only need a little, this should do the trick.

Very effective
A little goes a long way with this stuff. I wish there were more directions because it can damage certain materials so do your research before using it. This worked beautifully to remove some old stuck on oils and small cleaning projects. I like this small package because I don't use much of it and didn't want to buy a whole big box of it when I personally wouldn't use that much even over the next couple of years.

Resealable packet of TSP for small jobs
This is a four-ounce resealable packet of Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) from Coolinario. The package says the white powder is unscented, and I'll take their word for it. No one should be inhaling it, anyway. Definitely wear long rubber gloves and a face mask (or respirator) before mixing up the solution. The powder dissolves easily in water. It creates an alkaline solution that is great for degreasing walls and cabinets before painting them. That is the reason I got this small packet. I wanted to repaint my bathroom cabinets and have had success using TSP before painting in the past. But I didn't want to get a big bucket from the hardware store only to use a small amount. This packet was the perfect size.I like that the packet is resealable. I have enough left over to wash the cabinets in my other bathroom if I decide to paint them.
