Absolutely love this cordless scissor. It really works great at cutting through cardboard and packaging. Fits nice in the hand easy to operate. Nice sharp blade so far it cuts though everything like butter. Worx put out a real winner here in my opinion.

I was skeptical, but this worked great. Made short work of cardboard boxes, including the double walled cardboard. I had about 50 pieces of 1'x2' thick packing cardboard. Cut them down into 1" strips to be used as fire starter. I was surprised but battery lasted the whole time off of a full charge. Super easy to use. Must have for people with wood stoves or fire pits that want to recycle cardboard as tinder.

DISLIKES: Recharge time, to recharge after a good usage of the tool requires 5 hours to a full charge before you can get working again, that is with the default adapter{charger) that comes with it, which is 6V 400mA.This also depends on the amperage of your charger, I have found chargers with a 2Amp up to 5Amp charge things faster, and can cut your recharge cycle down quite a bit, 2 Amp usually about 2-1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, a 5 Amp charger can reduce this down to anywhere from 30 minutes, to not usually more than 2 hours{if that} for a full recharge. I have numerous adapters with a wide variety of voltages and ratings, always USE a charger/adapter with the correct voltage, in this case 6V, but the amperage is what makes the difference in how fast it will recharge.LIKES:Rechargeable, cuts through many different materials smoothly and easily. Self Sharpening blade, so longer use of the cutting blade before having to possibly replace the circular blade.I wouldn't actually call this tool electric scissors, it's more like a sub-miniature hand-held circular saw. I purchased this tool initially for cutting out old carpeting from my home, it cuts through the carpet like a hot knife would cut through a stick of butter.Not only that, but I have also used this tool to cut down my Amazon Delivery boxes for easy removal, some boxes that may have a very thick form, it will cut them, but it's a little harder to get the tool through those, but most standard boxes, it makes short work of them, cutting them down to small square sections in less time than it does to break them down by hand and cut them down with a standard pair of scissor.My wife cut down a box of the same size using scissors, and I was using the tool, I had completed the complete cut-down of my box, same exact size as here, in less than 5 minutes, while she was still struggling to get her box cut down to size for the trash bag, her box was still over 70% intact, I cut down various size boxes, a total of 15 boxes from medium to very large, in the time it took her to cut down the one box she was working on.I have used the tool to cut Coroplast, thin plexiglass, this plastic sheeting, and very thin wood molding for interior door frames, when the tool started slowing down and cutting became more difficult, I knew it was either time to recharge the tool, or sometimes just hold the tool, not cutting anything, hold in the safety button in and power button, to allow the tool to run with no cutting, this will resharpen the blade, and if the tool still has enough of a charge, continue cutting until it bogs down, then a simple recharge takes care of that.Just about anything you cut with a pair of sharp scissors, this tool would probably cut as well.Yes, I can recommend this tool, it's a great tool to have in your arsenal of home improvement and cleanup tools. It will definitely help you get the job down much faster than a manual cutting tool for many different materials, which makes it an indispensable, versatile, and worthy tool to have.

Works great for breaking down cardboard boxes. As someone with medical issues I have tons of boxes that build up in in about 30 minutes I was able to break down 42 boxes and fit them all in a trash can! No more having to wait and hope not to miss bulk trash or tape up stacks of boxes to set on side of road. This thing is fast it works exactly as it should. It's lightweight and the battery in impressed by. The battery lasts long and I expected it to die but I got through all the boxes and still running strong on one charge. It's easy to cut straight line so I can imagine if you're doing like crafts this is good if you're trying to cut straight lines and cardboard. It's compact and small... I can't wait to figure out what other things I can use this for. Love it

Was doubtful I'd use this much... but now I really like using it!.This will cut a variety of materials... paper, cardboard, denim, sunbrella (a heavy cotton duck), and leather.It will... if using it mindfully as in not pushing it too hard... cut heavy webbing and leather as seen in the pic I attached.This is an old linemen's belt that I was removing hardware from. This little cutter worked great..I've also used it on cardboard with no issues..Recently I've been using it on boat canvas projects... Sunbrella duck material (when I don't need to use my hot cutter)..On light fabrics, or cutting really close to edges, I find it could be a bit tricky to cut a straight line. This just takes a slow careful hand to make the cut straight..No problem charging it, and it holds a charge for a LONG time!.There's a hard case advertised for this (purchased seperately), and it's really handy to keep the whole kit together.

Works great! I really just use it for cardboard, so that my recycling bin isn't filled with huge cardboard boxes. I use it for virtually every cardboard box now and it does an excellent job.Some are saying that they wish they could open boxes with it. I just use the ledge on the 'guide' to cut through the tape on a box and it works about as well as having to switch over to a blade. Apart from that, it makes very short work of cardboard boxes and saves loads of space in the recycling.Only negative is that it takes a while to charge, but I don't have to charge it often, and it has been enough to process any of the cardboard I've come across.
