Q: Will this work on windows vista, android phone and Ipad?

Yes, it works on iPads and Android Phones. Windows Vista is no longer supported. The oldest supported Windows platform is Windows 7 currently (as of May 2018).

Q: What is the difference between a keycard or download code?

The keycard is physically mailed to you in a box. There is a card inside with your download code and instructions. With the download code, you are emailed the code and instructions within a couple of hours. You can also find it in your Digital Games and Software library in case you don't see an email. It is your choice whether you prefer to receive an actual box or if you are fine with receiving it as an email. In either case, you need to take your code to https://www.mcafee.com/activate to redeem it and begin the installation. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Q: Does the program download with the activation key in the mail?

You will receive a card with the activation key on it. Alternatively, if you or order the email version, the key will be emailed to you. In both cases, the product key is redeemed at McAfee.com/Activate. As part of the redemption, you will be asked to download the software to your device.

Q: It says auto renewal required. If I dont take auto renewal what happens and if I take it how much does it cost?

Auto-renew is not required to install the product. It is only required to be enrolled in our Virus Protection Pledge, where we guarantee that if you do get infected with a virus, we will remove it or give you your money back. You can click on the X in the upper right corner to close that window and skip enrolling, though. You will just need to make sure you renew at this time next year - but we will send you notices, so you don't need to worry about missing the date. To answer your question, nothing will happen if you choose not to enroll in auto-renew - you will still be protected. If you do choose to enroll, your credit card will be charged automatically next year when it's time to renew - although we do send out notices before-hand giving you a chance to cancel if you wish. To cancel auto-renew after you have signed up, simply go into your account at home.mcafee.com, click on the "My Account" drop-down menu, choose "Auto-Renew Settings" and then turn off auto-renew. I can't really say what the renewal price will be as we run promotions from time-to-time. The price will vary. But we will notify you of the price in the email letting you know you are about to be charged. At that time, you can decide if you want to stay enrolled or cancel your enrollment and then purchase this product from Amazon again next year. I hope that clarifies it for you.
