Great little performers, a must buy.
Off the bat you can feel the quality on these. The anime packaging isn't to my tastes, although its only the box art so its not really an issue, I am sure some people like that a lot. The internal packaging is great, headphones are presented well, and packed nicely.Headphones are made of metal and the cables to attach the headphones feel like a good quality. I have been using these for about a week, and they have settled in nicely. The included buds are good, and they also seem to fit with my comply sets if you were looking for 3rd party options also.As with all IEMs getting a good fit is essential to get a good frequency response, it took me a while to find that, but now I know the tips that work for my ear shape, so if they dont sound good initially, persevere with them and they will really pay dividends in audio quality.Sound profile is nice, its not too heavy on the bass end, crystal clears on the high with a good mid-range. I haven't found a genre of music that sound inauthentic, and they also work well for gaming, the stereo imaging/sound stage is really clear and wide on these which I believe helps it in the latter area. For less than £20 its really a no brainer. If you are after IEMs or new to them these easily punch well above their weight. High quality, metal body, comfortable fit, great sound presentation, whats not to like.

Excellent IEMs for the price
I'm surprised to see some rather mediocre reviews re these Chu 2s as I found them to be clear, open (for IEMs), have good soundstage (for IEMs), have no overwhelming bass or treble, no treble splash, no noticeable straining at higher volumes, no over or under presentation of male or female singers & a good balance between instruments & voices. They are also easy to drive. The earphones are very well made using zinc alloy (completely I think) & are a steal at £19. They are very compact, lightweight & not at all bulky - diminutive. However, their sound is not hampered by their physical size. The unique aluminium/magnesium diaphragm used seems to have made a big positive difference to the overall sound.I didn't use the cable that came with the phones - instead I used a reference one & this proved that the Chu's are worthy of upgrading the cable if you want to improve sound quality. These probably aren't for those who consider themselves baseheads but will suit those looking for good sound accuracy & a balanced sound. In my opinion, they're worthy successors to the original Chu's. Recommended

Not Bad for the Price
Build quality is certainly impressive. Packaging is good. There are a few issues. Getting the silicone buds on is a bugger but I suppose you get used to it after a few goes. Not that you need to replace very often. The picture is a bit deceptive as the plugs are white not black and it is very hard see see the L and R markings without a magnifying glass and even then still hard to see. Need to make sure you connect cable right way. I didn’t realise they were loop around the ear type as not that keen. If you are trying to work out how the hell to put them in the ears you probably like me connected the plug the wrong way. I don’t know if it’s the cable but when you walk or move or touch the cable you get that annoying sound bit like when you have airpods max ANC turned off. I don’t get that sound with the cheap and cheerful apple earpods.Combined with my AirPods max in noise cancellation mode on top of these ear phones playing music via my mp3 player they do a pretty good job in reducing noise even more.

Excellent for the price.
If you're just new to IEMs this is the place to start. For £20 you get a set of IEMs that punch way above their price range. I've used IEMs in the £100 price range that didn't sound this good. The sound is crisp with excellent bass, mids and treble. They are very comfortable to wear, fitting nicely in my ear.My only complaint would be the cable, which seems a little on the flimsy side, it's probably fine though. Shop around for a decent one if the one supplied doesn't suit you, but don't cheap out on it. The lower quality cables can cause all kinds of problems, you can also get a bluetooth adapter if thats your kind of thing. I got the Linsoul Tripowin Mirage 30AWG OCC HiFi IEM cable you want the 2pin-0.78mm, 3.5mm version and it was pretty great. Plus it came in a dark colour. If you need some earpods and you're on a budget.. even if you're not on a budget. This is almost certainly what you should be getting.

Do NOT buy these IEMS. PLEASE!
These iems are so bad. They work normally and fine, I also admit the audio quality is quite nice... How ever the sound coming from the earphones itself literally goes quieter and quieter, sometimes in one ear and sometimes in the other ear. It's so frustrating, sometimes they work perfectly fine, another time they don't work at all. It's so annoying. If this one thing didn't happen, THE IEMS NOT WORKING, it would be a 9/10 easily. But since this happens it is so frustrating to use and man I would strongly not recommend getting these iems. The cable itself is quite long, it is nice and and has a premium feel, the iems also do have a premium feel and the packaging is quite nice. But the iems itself refuse to work properly sometimes. So it's pointless.tldr; don't buy these. at all.
