Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Xperia 1 V Case (2023) - Matte Black

I don't know how people use their expensive phones without a case. I've dropped my phone several times onto concrete and my phone was 100% protected and the case barely had a scratch. Worth every penny.

I've been using this case for almost a year now. I'm a bit clumsy/careless when it comes to handling my phone, and despite dropping it at every conceivable angle from waist/shoulder heights, my phone never had cracked glass or scratches.This case, although lightweight/thin compared to say, an Otterbox, has done an excellent job protecting my phone. The fingerprint reader is easily accessible, and all of the buttons are easy to press.The case itself hasn't degraded or broken at all since I've owned it. It's a snug fit on the phone, but not difficult to take off or put back on.

Solid case. Very basic design but fits perfectly and big enough hole space for all buttons and ports.Wish they had a mag safe option or more designs available but one of the best Xperia phone cases available for the price since it's not a super popular phone.

It is difficult to find a case for a unique phone that most people never heard of. I am constantly outside and need a case that looks and feels good, plus adds protection. Tried other cases, and this case, in my opinion, is best for the experia 1 V. Already had a few close calls. This case will take a beating but will protect the phone......with screen protector of course.

Great product

Been a bit over a year since I got this case. It's cheap and holding up great. I drop my phone several times a month usually onto concrete or asphalt, broken a few screen protectors but the case keeps the actual screen and body of the phone very safe. No damage to the phone itself and the corners aren't completely destroyed on this yet. Comes on and off easy.

The media could not be loaded. I wasn't that excited about this case when I ordered it, but there aren't too many options for "rugged" cases for this phone yet. I will say it does look better than I expected and feels sturdy but not too bulky. It's raised around the camera and screen areas for protection while laying flat. The headphone cutout is wide enough to accommodate thicker jacks. The fingerprint cutout feels nice and makes it easy to locate blindly.A few minor cons:The shutter button does feel a bit squishy making it difficult to feel the 1st stage, but I could get used to that. The back feels a little slippery, but the sides have plenty of grip. And it's still not as nice and premium looking as some other options for iPhone or Samsung.I also bought the AIORIA PU Leather Retro Business Design case for $14 and that case definitely looks and feels more premium than this Spigen. It's not as protective but it is grippier, still raised around the camera and screen, and again looks so much nicer. So I'll be using that AIORIA daily, and this Spigen for times when I need more protection for the day.

I've had a Spigen case for all of my previous phones, but they were all combination rubber with a surrounding hard shell. I was disappointed to find that Spigen's case for the Xperia 1 V didn't include the hard shell. Mainly, it's because I stick a belt clip on the back of it and the rubber doesn't adhere to the tape used on the belt clip as well. It works, but the clip falls off and has to be stuck back on with new tape much more often than it did with the hard shell.
