Update 7/25: After the issues with the previous one I purchased, I was contacted and offered a full refund along with a replacement of another alternative variant of their paper-feel screens, so I opted to request the magnetic variant, and because I had zero issues with the "magnetic" variant and the above and beyond customer service experience I am upgrading this to a 5-star review. A+++Original comment below:-Immediately after installing this ESR paper-feel screen protector and opening Procreate, I noticed I couldn’t draw a perfectly straight line even if my life depended on it. Hoping it was just because it was freshly installed.. so I let it sit for an entire day to settle, thinking maybe there are microscopic air bubbles that would work their way out (as often happens with other protectors). But even the next day, the problem persisted.In the first half of my video, you can see me attempting to draw simple straight lines using the default Studio Pen in Procreate (with no brush customization), on an iPad Pro using an Apple Pencil Pro. Every line has a noticeable “wiggle” or waviness to it. In the second half, I removed the screen protector and drew the similar basic lines and no wiggles, just smooth strokes.Also in the photo I provided, lines on the left were drawn with the screen protector on, and lines on the right without it.I’ve never experienced this issue with official PaperLike protectors on my older iPad. I was hoping this would be a better and cheaper, tempered glass alternative rather than a soft film like PaperLike brand, but clearly you get what you pay for here, which is subpar quality.Needless to say, I’ll be returning this for a refund. Very disappointed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:First time ever in my 10 years of shopping online that I’ve left a review but here we go. First package came fully damaged. Very frustrated. Left a request on their website, the customer service reached out to me right after 10-15 minutes, and kept me updated until midnight lol. I received the replacement ones the day after (that was super fast lol).Tried it on and it feels perfect. I bought some apple pencil replacement tips and so far it hasn’t left any scratches. No problems, at least for now. I’m obsessed haha. Definitely gonna buy again.

Although the instructions were fairly clear, a video I found was a lot more helpful. I wiped off the screen just using a microfiber cloth and them attempted to proceed - FAIL. It did not seem to want to adhere to the screen. I then used the cleaner and cloth that are in the kit and that seems to be the trick to get it to adhere. I had a hard time with bubbles and have some advice for dealing with them. Using a card did not work but lifting the protector and using my thumbs and palms to push them out did and seemed to be the best way to push out the bubbles. Unfortunately, one dust particle managed to sneak in.This screen protector is very nice for using with the Apple pencil and I don't feel like I need any kind of special screen protector to make it easier to draw or write. My iPad is about two years old and the screen on it is awful as far as fingerprints go. After a couple of hours of working it is absolutely filled with them and it takes awhile to clean the screen. With that in mind, this screen protector is wonderful because it is super resistant to fingerprints and the oils from them. On that point alone I would sure recommend it. My only problem is that I can't get the bubbles out around the edges but they don't interfere with seeing what's on the screen. Other than that I have no complaints, and that is more of an aggravation than a complaint.

This is my first time owning an iPad but I have bought screen protectors for my Kindle and my iPhone so I have experience in installing them. I planned on using my iPad for art and other apps that require handwriting so I really wanted the paper-like feel. I chose this one because of the reviews and the price was fair. It came well packaged and love that it came with the alignment frame. I’m glad it came with two screens because I messed up the first install. Got a few dust specks that weren’t that bad but I’m OCD about my screens being perfect lol. I tried the second install the next day but I made sure the area I was in was as dust free as possible. Well the second install went much better. There is that moment where you kind of hold your breath when you do the part where use your finger to run it down the middle of the screen and you wait for the results lol. It came out perfectly with no bubbles at all. Literally perfect! You can still see images clearly and there is no glare. As far as using the Apple Pencil it really does feel like I’m writing on paper. I really like it so I would recommend this purchase. It’s a reasonable price and it’s really easy to install. Just make sure wherever you install it is as clean as possible. It’s a great buy in my opinion!

When I ordered this, watching the video in the gallery, I thought to myself "it can't be that easy."It's that easy.Just like it shows: stress free, perfectly aligned, and, best of all, NO DUST UNDERNEATH. I only had one bubble after doing the "swiping" motion, and it was in a lower corner that I could easily smooth out with my finger. The paper texture is very nice, and what fingerprints do show up are easy to clean. As someone with OCD who literally almost had a panic attack trying to apply other protectors, this was exactly what I needed. The fact it comes with two is nice as well, just in case one gets scratched or for when the texture wears down. If/when I ever get another iPad in the far future, I know who to get a protector from.
