Used this for the first time last night, and it worked like a charm. I heated it for 90 seconds, rotating every 30 seconds as directed, and it heated up evenly and held the heat in. I put a disposable plastic shower cap on first over my deep conditioner, then I put his on over that. I left it on for 20 minutes, and it held the heat for the full time I wore it. My only caveat is that it runs small. I am a small person with a small head, and it was tight on me. I don't know if they come in sizes or not. It was really easy to use, I didn't have to mess with one of those bonnet dryers, which look like a lot of trouble. I am happy with my choice of product.

Good bang for your buck, affordable, reasonably priced, very high quality material, so it'll last, easy to use, just put in microwave for 90 seconds and place on head to heat up the deep conditioner cream, will allow product to better absorb into hair strands and give smoother soft hair. This cap will assist with that. Very pleasant experience

This cap is deep, heavy and it holds all of my hair. I have big type 3c/4a mixed curls. This cap steamed my hair for me and I will purchase another one in the future

This product is definitely worth the buy! It heats up quickly and its more convenient than the dryer attachment I was using for my deep conditioning. For reference, I have 4c low porosity hair, so I deep condition regularly. This product is well made and it fits nicely over my head and hair (when I put it into bantu knots under the cap). For people with longer hair than me (I have bra strap length hair) you might struggle to get it all underneath, but I say for the price it is worth the try!

This item was very hard but it also did not fit my head correctly. An option would be for them to provide gloves for you when you take it out of the microwave so that you don't burn your hands I actually put an additional cap on but it still was very hot in the center of the cap.

I was worried this cap would lose heat quickly and need to be reheated several times but it holds heat very well. Stays warm the whole 30 minutes I need it for treatment. The only caution is it can feel uncomfortable on the top of your head at first as it is a little heavy and slumps down onto your head. I recommend pilling your hair at the top of your head to act as barrier between your scalp and the cap.

They need to provide the cap measurement in the description and the fact that the cap has no stretch because of the way the elastic is attached.The photo is deceiving because the elastic gives the impression that the cap stretches like a shower cap when it doesn't. The elastic was attached to the cap that has a fixed opening. Since the opening has no give, the elastic does not stretch to help the cap fit around a larger head, it is just a trim that helps keep the heat in. In order to wear this cap, I would have to jam my hair in through the small opening, and that pushing and pulling is not good for the hair and may cause it to break. I am not sure I could get all my hair in and wear the cap properly because I stopped trying when I realized how small and tight the cap opening is. I am attaching a photo close-up of the elastic in the Tiara cap, and a photo of a different cap that appears to have the elastic attached in a way that the cap opening stretches. I think I will buy that one instead.This cap is also very heavy; I didn't realize it was stuffed with gel. I now see gel is the 10th word in the header, it is not in the description and I did not read the whole header before ordering.

For me, it’s a 10/10. I don’t have issues with the weight, and mine heats up just fine(flip it over every 30 seconds or so). I can see how if you have a bulkier hair style or a lot of hair how this can be on the small side for you. It does have weight so if your head can’t take that, don’t buy this. It’ll definitely not fit a full head of rollers, but that’s not what I intend to use it for. I’m only using it for hot oil & conditioning treatments on my natural hair. So, for me 10/10.
