Nature's Way, Glucomannan Konjac Root, 665 Mg, 180 Vcaps

I initially bought this with the hope it would help me lose weight but it really hasn't helped that much for that. However, it did lower my "bad" cholesterol and significantly raised my "good" cholesterol. My doctor and I had been discussing the possibility of medication to manage my cholesterol but we were both surprised by the latest lab results. I intend to continue to use it - and will also continue to buy it here for the cost effectiveness and convenience.

Definitely works for me, very gentle on my sensitive stomach and the capsules have no flavor that I can detect. I'm getting a bottle for everyone I know that struggles with weight and over eating. Medically, I'm considered obese, I have several health issues that make it very hard to exercise. I've been taking these on days when I feel really hungry and it helps. It doesn't help if you're feeling compulsive though, as that type of "mental hunger" is a different demon than physical hunger with the tendency to over eat. I still struggle with mental hunger, but this product helps keep my stomach from growling and if I'm busy or not thinking about food many hours will pass before I become hungry again. I'm 15lbs down without exercise, but I have been limiting bread / refined flours, soda and sweets.

I tried with an open mind to think this would work, as nothing else has. I have been using it now for a couple of weeks and religiously drink a ton of water with each serving- I can't feel a difference- I was supposed to feel full....not a chance.

I substantially increased my water intake and it seems to be working. I've realized that it decreases my appetite much better if I take it on an empty stomach about 45min to an hour before eating. It is a good supplement to help decrease appetite. Just be sure to drink lots of water!

I was looking in to a new popular weight loss drug on the market, and this was the main ingredient along with B vitamins...so I thought why not just buy the real thing for a fraction of the price???
