First protein powder I’ve ever liked !
I purchased the vegan Pancake Batter flavor and now that I’ve gotten used to preparing it I really really like it. I typically blend it with almond butter, bananas and Greek yogurt to make a smoothie bowl with granola but it’s still good if you just mix it with milk. I genuinely like the flavor, and for 20 grams of protein it’s only about 180 calories which I appreciate. It doesn’t make me sick the way whey protein does so overall I will purchase this again when I run out. BTW it did come about half empty like other reviews mentioned but it still contains the amount advertised so I don’t mind.

YAY
I haven't had whey protein powder in YEARS due to an allergy so I can't say how it stacks up to that. However, I can say it tastes pretty darn good for a vegan protein powder. Is it a bit gritty? Yes. Does it have any aftertaste? Honestly, barely at all! Is it dairy free so allergy friendly for me? YES! Overall, I can eat it and it taste good and doesn't make me feel nauseous because of how gross it is (I'm looking at you owyn...). In my opinion this is a huge win, it technically tastes better than my previous orgain fruity cereal in terms of its less gross but I also think it doesn't taste as good because its really bland and not sweet, which all things considered could actually be a great thing and I will definitely use this in ice cream and maybe baked goods going forward. TLDR: Surprisingly good but also quite bland.

Wouldn’t Recommend
I’m really disappointed with this protein powder. I was really hopeful because it seemed like a legit brand. The taste of the Cinnabon Vegan Protein powder is so artificial and doesn’t taste like cinnamon buns. It has a very unfortunate slightly cinnamon “mildew” type taste (that’s the best way I can describe it) so it’s not even an aftertaste it’s just hard to swallow from start to finish. And the powder is grainy because there were harder bits in the mix to start with. I even mixed it with banana to see if that would help and it did not. The worst part is, it repeated on me for hours after I had a smoothie. It was bad enough to taste it once but to have to keep tasting it hours later is a big “no thank you.” I try to mix up my protein powders so my go-to brands are Anthony’s Pea Protein (plain for baking, low carb, no sugar, high protein and great for macro counting), Falcon Performance Sport (the black container - it’s got added aminos and creatine, vanilla flavor for shakes and smoothies), and most recently Beam- Be Amazing Vegan Protein (the maple brown sugar oatmeal one- great for smoothies or “dessert” treats). I was hoping I could add the Ghost Cinnabon into the mix, but I’m going to have to fight my way through this container. It’s way too expensive to get rid of and I definitely feel like it should be better quality for the price. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this for fellow vegan athletes. I’ll try to see if I can bake it into protein muffins or something but- oof. Sorry guys.

Banana flavor was not great
Got this based on glowing reviews, even across other protein powders. Chose the banana flavor because I've heard that "all" cocoa powders are contaminated w traces of lead/cadmium and tend accumulate In the body - especially since I drink 2-3 shakes per day the chocolate flavor was now a no-go. Banana pancake flavor is yellowish and has that banana smell, however taste-wise it's not that great. Very chalky although also very smooth and not Gritty at all, but the flavor needs something, it's just overly sweet and artificial, not like banana at all. No bloating and gas, like with my Tripact whey+plant mix protein, I am gonna try experimenting flavoring it with lemon juice and cinnamon, to make it more bearable, since I got a whole 2 lbs tub (wish they had a 3-flavor pack to order instead of committing to such large size). I feel like vanilla would have probably been a better choice for me , but I don't think these are returnable. Overall it's not bad but not the best either unfortunately, my search for the perfect plant protein continues :(

The Taste Is Amazing
Such a great flavor for a vegan protein powder, love blending it with almond milk and ice cubes to make a good smoothie. Has a really good taste and doesn’t leave a bad after taste as well.

Chocolate Cereal Milk
The Flavor isn’t the greatest, but vegan protein is hard to get to taste good. Good macros on it though.

My favorite!
I order this over and over again! Perfect for my particular health issues! Also delish! It dissolves easily in almond milk, great protein content. Amazing quality!

Reminds me of Slim-Fast
I haven't tried too many protein powders (America's obsession with "getting enough protein" is ludicrous... but I recently went vegan so I'm probably one who SHOULD be concerned), so I don't have much to compare/contrast this with. But as someone who drank Slim-Fast back in the 80s, I can say that this stuff is pretty close to what I remember Slim-Fast tasting like. Unlike others who have reviewed it, I don't find the texture gritty at all.The interesting feature of this that I wasn't expecting is how FULL it makes you feel. A 120 calorie shake and a 200 calorie fig bar at 6:30 AM leaves me still feeling satiated at 11:30 a.m. I didn't start drinking these to lose weight, but I do seem to be getting that effect.I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors. The Cinnabon flavor is on its way to me now.
