I was a little skeptical about buying these bands but after I received them I quickly changed my tune. These things really do pack a punch and are simple to set up and use. When I first took them out of their bag, they seemed rather skinny as opposed to the images on Amazon, but they are much sturdier than they appear. I' wanted to use them for a while before I gave my honest opinion and I was pleasantly surprised when I started to use them. The resistance goes from a light 10LB up to 30Lbs and and believe me with different combinations of resistance you can get most of the exercises and benefits that you would get at any gym, albeit on a slightly lower level, but for the price you can't go wrong. You can spend hundreds on a gym membership, but these little beauties give you most if not all the exercises you can do at the gym for a fraction of the cost, and best of all, you can take them any where. Jut throw them into your car, or gear bag and you can take the gym with you where ever you go. This is one item I am glad I bought.

Bought these bands based on reviews, and after trying a cheaper set to see if bands any use. Result, I wish I’d acquired a set a long time ago. As to the Proiron bands, these seem well made, with clear labelling as to band strength, plus you can combine them if you need more than the 30kg band.Band length only is approx. 165cm, and with handles attached it’s 210cm. I’m 5 foot 10 in (178 cm) and they’re ok for me, but some people below that may prefer shorter bands, although using stronger band does compensate somewhat as less movement.The only other thing is that the band only has a plastic tube in centre where you stand on it. This is fine if wearing footwear, but can get uncomfortable if not, such as wearing just socks in lounge like I do. I solved it by cutting a piece of foam exercise mat and putting that over the band, but a padded tube would be a welcome addition

I found these to be...... O.K but after using them for a short time, I've ended up buying other bands that I feel a lot more confident using.I use resistance bands as a 'warm up' before training with sandbags, so they're not pushed to the limit of their 'useability', but I'm afraid these reached that point fairly quickly.These tube bands are very similar (but a lot longer, and minus the hooks) to 'bungee straps' that are used to secure stuff.What I didn't particularly like, (but I kind of get the reasoning behind it) is the hard plastic covering part of each length of band. These are meant to protect the bit of band you stand on while exercising, but I found them to be a nuisance, as the plastic used is stiff, it distorts the band, and reduces the effectiveness of the 'stretch'.I found the best way around this problem was to carefully cut off the plastic, and replace it with a length of velcro neoprene.Cheap as chips, protects the band, and helps to prevent the bands getting tangled too much!The other thing that I didn't really like was the black plastic cover on each end of the bands to 'protect' them where the loops to clip on handles are formed.These things just slide off, and as such are pointless.

These are a good quality item, they are also robust. My only observation is that they are very long better suited to being used for exercises where they use the door frame than using them in any other way.
