This holster is a perfect fit for a large cell phone and I can actually hear the ring while riding. I like the strap that connects the phone to my leg as it is thick, maybe two inches, made uses velcro and is very secure. It is so comfortable that I forget that it is there. I like that there is a smaller front pocket where I can stash my keys and a few bucks. The down side is that the top folds over to close and again uses a wide velcro strip to secure. It is very secure. So much so that it takes one hand on the top and one on the bottom of the holster to get it open to put your phone back while riding. One doesn't always have two hands available. I have been trying to figure out how to make that work better. For now, I tuck the top behind the holster a bit until I am ready to return my phone to the holder. There is also a ring on the back of the holster that would allow one to fasten it to the saddle, carry it around your neck, or use it some other way. I should mention that I called and spoke to a woman from the company who couldn't have been nicer and more informative when deciding what to buy. I was not sure which holster I wanted. The XL is what I wanted and she was obviously well acquainted with the holster and had an excellent service ethic. I am very pleased as this is the beast on the market as far as I can see. I highly recommend it as I wear it every day.

I have used several type of phone holsters when I am riding...I absolutely LOVE this one...the ONLY con though is that it is Velcro....and if you know horses you know several of them will easily spook with Velcro. Also if you are wanting to take a quick picture there is no quiet way to get your phone out of this holster so if you want a pic of that cute little chipmunk...it ain't gonna happen. *I would love to see a magnetic option on this holster...THEN it would be PERFECT!!!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift so haven't given it to my friend yet but I do plan to order one for myself! I was thrown from my horse in October while on trail and sustained serious injuries - the horse spooked and took off. My phone was attached to the saddle. Fortunately, I don't ride alone and my friend was able to grab the horse and call 911. I'll never ride with my phone attached to the saddle again which is why I purchased this gift for her and I'll also have one before I ride again. I always knew this type of accident could occur but hadn't prepared for it. The holster looks like it's well made, it's attractive and I'm anxious to give it a try.

I am from Ocala and this item is very popular there. But it simply doesn’t work. It has a clip that helps it from falling down your leg, but it will not stay up. Makes me wonder what shape leg I need to have just to keep it in place. Wonderful idea/ invention but it simply doesn’t work. I felt people had ought to know this before buying, and yet I am keeping it because I have to have my phone on me riding.

I like this product has pretty good thickness to it but it does slid down my leg a lot even with it super tight and the no slip lead piece connected. The lead piece connection that is supposed to clip to you belt or jeans continuously comes undone/off.

This works quite well. It does slip a bit (which is why I gave 4 stars) but the clip thing it comes with helps keep it in place. Fits my large phone, a thin billfold/card holder, and can maybe squeeze car keys in. Glad to have it. I wear a size 10 and am consistently between a medium and a large on clothing size. I got the small strap, which fits my thigh fine and will work on my boot as well.

I saw one of these holsters on a friend at the horse camp and loved the conveniency. I run Equestrian Giveaways on Youtube (channel: Gypsy Equestrian) and the horse holster is one of the most requested items for me to giveaway! I only wish the shipping on this product wasn't $9. That seems like a lot for such a light item. But the product is great!

I tried to use it as the hip holster that it's advertised as, but unless you have legs like Lara Croft then you'll find the thigh strap constantly coming loose and the whole thing just falling lower on your leg. I eventually just took it off the harness and attached it to my belt like a regular phone case. Works perfectly like that.

Girlfriend loves it. Shipping took a long time but was worth it. Went for the larger strap which was a good call.

Great quality and securely holds your phone in the holster. Looks great too.
